About the Role
You will provide hands-on operational support for COP activities within the C2 portfolio at the Joint Staff J3 N2C3 Division. Working alongside the COP Manager, you’ll support planning, coordination, and execution of COP-related activities, action day-to-day tasking and issue resolution, and support assessments, sustainment, and modernization efforts. You’ll also provide COP technical support on the NMCC watch floor and lead capability demonstrations.
What You’ll Do
Assist the COP Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of COP-related activities
Action day-to-day tasking and issue resolution across the COP community
Support assessments, sustainment, and modernization of COP capabilities
Integrate system, data, and stakeholder inputs to maintain COP accuracy and interoperability
Provide COP technical expertise on the NMCC watch floor (GCCS-J, Agile Client, SAGE, etc.)
Lead capability demonstrations to agencies, offices, and partners
Liaison with program management offices to resolve issues at critical sites
Support C2 ancillary systems (URN DB, UID DB, NICKA)
Support the SAV program logistics and execution
Provide operational insights and recommendations for enterprise decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience supporting joint C2 operations, COP systems, or operational visualization capabilities
U.S. Citizenship
Hands-on experience with GCCS-J, Agile Client, SAGE, A/EISS, RAPIDS, WASABI, or C2IE
Prior NMCC watch floor or operations center experience
Knowledge of joint data networks and COP reporting requirements
Experience with user training and capability demonstrations in classified environments
Familiarity with unit reference numbers, friendly force tracking, or IBS
Work Environment
100% On-Site at the Pentagon, Room MA924, Washington, DC. Classified NMCC environment; escort authority for non-badged persons. Core hours: 0800–1700, Monday–Friday. Travel: CONUS/OCONUS for SAVs and meetings.
